Featured Workshops

Featured Topic: Human Trafficking

October 29, 2020 | 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Registration is FREE (May be limited due to COVID-19)

Human Trafficking is happening right here in Westmoreland County.  Human Trafficking is a modern-day slavery and millions of women, children, and men are affected by this horrendous crime.  It is often “hidden in plain sight.” Trafficking victims are exploited for either sex or labor, sometimes both.  Victims can be any age, race, gender, or nationality.  This training will cover the many ways traffickers target their victims, identify potential indicators of trafficking victims, and discuss a few supportive strategies when working with victims of human trafficking.
