Keith Neill retired as a Special Education Teacher from Hempfield High School and for the next 25 years invested a portion of his time and energy into the Literacy Program at the YWCA. Keith has been a tutor for several students and an instructor in the English as a Second Language Classroom. His knowledge, wisdom, patience and sense of humor has made him a tremendous asset to the ESL students that he’s taught over the years.

Keith has decided that it’s time for him to retire again. . .this time from his YWCA volunteer responsibilities. He has decided to become a “snow bird”. He’ll spend November through March in Florida and April through October in Greensburg.

I have enjoyed working with Keith and will surely miss him! Hopefully, he’ll stop by here from time to time. . .because after all, we’re like family!

Maggie O'Leary, Literacy Director
